The 77th Independence Day was celebrated in our school on 15th August with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
In the presence of a gleeful gathering, the National Flag was hoisted by the Ms. Shreeja Anpat, an alumna of our school.
The program began with a prayer service after which students expressed their thoughts on the significance of Independence Day.
A thought-provoking skit was performed by the students of grade X highlighting the determination, valour and sacrifice of our Indian soldiers. Cultural dances and patriotic songs strongly brought out the message of Unity in Diversity.
The speech given by the chief guest awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Motherland.
The program ended by singing the National Anthem in unison. There was a feeling of pride and patriotism in everyone’s heart!
