23rd September 2022 the Pre-primary children celebrated ‘PET DAY’, which was held in school. The pre-primary children’s pets came to school bringing with them pets.
Quite of few pets showed up dogs, cats, a gold fish and a parakeet.
The little one were thrilled to see the pets and enjoyed petting /touching them. There was a lot of excitement and squeals of delight. All the children were told about how pets add value to our lives by giving us unconditional love.
The main purpose of organising Pet Day was to create a sense of core responsibility in the hearts of our children with regard to animals and also to sensitise the children to show respect for animals. The bond between humans and pets is indeed beautiful!
