It is today that the church celebrates the feast of the parents of the Virgin Mary, Saint Joachim and St. Ann. The family of St. Joseph High School was delighted to have Fr. Valerian Periera to consecrate the Eucharist. After the mass, the students of Std. V presented an enactment about St. Monica praying for 17 years for her son Augustine’s conversion.

It was followed by an action song, sung by Std. VIII and a wonderful dance by Std. III. All students then exchanged their lovely handmade cards and wished their parents. Fr. Valerian then addressed the parents by giving them a talk based on the theme, ‘Bringing up children in the Catholic faith’.

The event ended with some delicious refreshments offered to the parents.
