Reading day was celebrated on 13th October 2021 to commemorate the birth anniversary of our former President Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. A short online assembly was presented to the students to preserve reading culture and inculcate the habit of reading.
Students were informed about the significance of the day, about the benefits of reading and how they can develop reading into a hobby. Quotes of Dr Kalam motivated students to pursue their goal. A tribute was also paid to Dr Kalam for his great contribution and monumental achievements as a Scientist, Scholar and the President of India.
Students were encouraged to read different books. Finally, a thought ‘A book is a gift you can open again and again ‘was shared. The assembly ended leaving the students inspired, motivated and confident.
