Annual Sports Day Celebration at St. Joseph’s, Pashan
The ICSE section of St. Joseph’s, Pashan celebrated its Annual Sports Day on 30th November 2024 with great enthusiasm and fervor at Loyola Grounds. The event, spanning from Nursery to Grade 8, was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Dev Karan Gill and Mrs. Gopika Gill as the chief guests.
The day commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the torch and a spirited relay run by our exceptional athletes, who have achieved accolades at district, state, and national levels. The March Past, representing the four houses, was a stunning display of coordination and discipline, earning admiration from all.
The pre-primary section charmed the audience with their delightful performances, including Rhythmic Yoga, a vibrant Ribbon Dance, and engaging races like the Rabbit Jump, Fun with Cones, and Rolling the Ball. The excitement continued with phenomenal displays by Grade 1 and 2 students showcasing Ring P.T., while the Grade 3 students demonstrated their karate skills with precision and energy.
The secondary section impressed everyone with a diverse array of performances, including Rhythmic Yoga, traditional Lezim, and Zumba.
Adding to the grandeur were the track and field events—100m, 200m, and the thrilling 400m relays—where the cheering from the house supporters reached a fever pitch, inspiring the athletes to give their best.
The event concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony, where the Green House emerged victorious, winning the General Championship. The chief guest addressed the gathering, lauding the students and staff for their efforts and encouraging everyone to aim for even greater heights in the future.
The Annual Sports Day was a resounding success and celebration of physical prowess, teamwork, and the indomitable spirit of St. Joseph’s.
