This event, a highlight of our academic calendar, brought together our Sisters of the congregation, judges, students and teachers, to celebrate the power of words and the art of public speaking.

Weeks of preparation led up to this day. Students from grades 5 had been practicing diligently, honing their speaking skills, and perfecting their speeches on a variety of topics. The themes ranged from environmental conservation and technological advancements to personal experiences and the importance of kindness, showcasing the diversity of thoughts and perspectives among our young orators.

• Aarohi Gaikwad from Grade 5, Red House, wowed everyone with her speech, winning hearts with her confident emphasis on her topic and bagged the Best Speaker Award.
• While the effortless and impeccable delivery by Swara Joshi, Swara Gadilkar, Anusha Hazra and Eva George, won the Blue House their trophy for their grand overall score.
Our panel of judges, comprising our esteemed teachers, Ms. Hemangi Joglekar and Ms. Doris Nesamani. They had the challenging task of evaluating each speech based on content, delivery, and overall impact. Their feedback for our orators, was not only insightful but highlighted deeper perspective to effective public speaking abilities.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and words of encouragement and appreciation by Sr. Antonette. Sister praised the students for their hard work and courage, and the teachers for their guidance and their unwavering support. She also emphasized that every participant was a winner for having the courage to stand up and speak in front of an audience.
The event ended with smiles all around, as students congratulated each other and posed for photos with their certificates and trophies. It was a day filled with inspiration, learning, and a celebration of the power of speech.
