Thanksgiving and prayer service was conducted in the New School Building on Saturday 20th July. The school was tastefully decorated for the occasion. Among the invitees who attended the service were Sisters of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary, benefactors, patrons, ex-teachers and ex-students, teams involved in the planning and construction.
The solemn programme began with the release of balloons and a prayer dance. It was followed by a prayer service and blessing of the new building. Ms. Michelle Pereira compered the programme. Rev. Fr. Dominic Adams and Rev. Fr. Sheelan blessed the school building. The choir rendered hymns that added life the solemn programme. Provincial Sr. Ursula thanked and conducted the felicitation ceremony of those who helped in putting up the school structure. It was followed by a dance. Ms. David proposed the vote of thanks. Everyone was invited to join in a fellowship meal. It was indeed a red letter day in the History of the school.
