A Math Model making competition was held on 7th December, 2021. The programme was held in virtual mode. The competition was open to all students of Std V to Std VIII.
The participants were given the option to prepare a math model on any topic of their choice and make a video mentioning the topic name, its importance and usage in our daily life. The students participated enthusiastically and each one gave his/her unique presentation. Each participant was judged on the basis of four skills –
Mathematical Approach, Appropriate presentation, Originality and Clarity, Creativity.
Math competition is one of many ways to bring forth a student’s intellectual capacity and commitment to the field. Through practice and preparation, students will further strengthen their math skills, which will enhance their grades and standardized test scores.
The programme ended on a positive note with the quote: “Mathematics may not teach us how to add love or minus hate. It gives us every reason to hope thatevery problem has a solution.”
