Virtual Diwali Celebration was held on 1st November 2021 with the theme, ‘The Lamps of Love Illumine Our Life’.
Diwali, known as the festival of lights, is celebrated by all as the symbol of victory of light
over darkness, good over evil, hope over despair. It is not just about lighting lamps outside but seeking inner light of love.
The programme started with a prayer to God to fill our hearts with compassion, forgiveness and loving kindness. A hymn and a universal prayer for everybody’s happiness on this Diwali followed. An amusing but value based skit was presented. The message conveyed was to spread love and joy without harming nature.
A lovely dance on the occasion of Diwali made everyone happy.
The programme ended on a positive note with the quote “May the divine light of Diwali spread into life, peace, prosperity, happiness and good health”.
