The nation’s 70th Republic day was celebrated on Saturday, 26th January, 2019 with great zeal and fervor. The programme began with the hoisting of the National Flag by our Chief guest-Sr. Madeleine-superior of the community at Kharghar. This was followed by flag salute parade by RSP squad of Std IX.
A meaningful prayer service and a short cultural programme on the theme UNITY STARTS WITH YOU…IF NOT YOU THEN WHO? Was conducted by the students of Std V.
Our chief guest Sr. Madeleine addressed students encouraging them to contribute to our country’s development especially by uplifting the poor and weaker sections of society. The toppers of the HSC examinations 2018-19 were awarded with scholarships during the programme. The programme ended on a vote of thanks by our Principal-Sr. Angela.
