A special Eucharistic celebrations was organized on Saturday, 6 October 2018, at Cathedral of the Holy Name, Fort to mark The Closing of The Bicentenary of the Foundation of the Religious of Jesus and Mary. The main celebrant was His Eminence Bishop John Rodrigues along with nine other priests.
RJM Sisters, staff catholic students of JM schools in Mumbai including CJM, Kharghar attended the mass in large numbers.
In his sermon, Bishop John spoke about the virtues and values of our Mother Foundress St. Claudine and also commended the sisters of JM community for their dedicated service to society especially in the field of education of girls in India and in other parts of the world. Bishop John also emphasized the need for everyone to follow the values that St. Claudine embodied to carry forward her good deeds in the world.
Mass was followed by a sumptuous lunch organized at Fort Convent School. It was indeed a wonderful time of fellowship as all sisters, staff and students come together as one big CJM family.
