An orientation programme was conducted for students from class V- XII on friday January 22nd, 2021 on the topics Commitment & peace .The Orientation program began with a Prayer song & Prayer, followed by a discussion of why people make new year resolutions but seldom follow through & also on importance of peace.Students reflected on the importance of Commitment to help achieve one’s goals & also on need to be peace makers .They also discussed the need to use one’s time wisely and through a video saw how to prioritize
tasks in order to utilize time well.
This was followed by a short animation movie & videos to help students reflect on the importance of being committed to one’s goals to maximize one’s potential. Various activities were conducted like collage making, identifying ones value etc.
The session was interactive and the students interacted enthusiastically.
