Theme: Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.
The orientation programme began with a Prayer song & Prayer.
This was followed by a short inspirational movie ‘ Arsaa’. Students then reflected on the movie and discussed the difference in attitude of the older generation and the youth towards one’s motherland.
They also discussed how by fulfilling one’s responsibility towards oneself, family and society, one will do great service to the nation and humanity at large.
This was followed by an animation on the student life of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and a discussion of how by being a responsible student one can be an asset to the country.
The session was interactive and the students interacted enthusiastically.
