Parents : A love beyond measure
Parents day is celebrated every year on 26th July in honour of St. Joachim and St. Anne who are the parents of Mother Mary and grandparents of Jesus.
In order to honor all parents and grandparents and to show appreciation for their commitment and sacrifice towards bringing up their children and nurturing their lives; a virtual programme with the theme Parents : A love beyond measure was held on 26th July,2021 .The programme was attended by parents and grandparents along with their children.
The day began with a special assembly which included special prayers for parents and grandparents.hymns and skit by the students. Children were shown videos and the message of ‘Importance of Parents’ was conveyed to them..
It was a joyful time for the students of std III to VIII as they engaged in creative card making activity. Their hand-made cards were written with heart-felt messages to their parents. The students from IX to XII made their parents feel special by cooking something nice for them. Students enthusiastically participated with a heart full of love and gratitude .
This special way of celebrating Parents’ Day filled families with immense joy and happiness.
