The Secondary Section celebrated Marathi Language Day on 26th February 2021 at 8.00 am via virtual mode.
Marathi Language Day is celebrated annually on February 27 to honor the birth anniversary of famous Marathi poet Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar, who was popularly known as ‘Kusumagraj’.
The Celebration started with Prayers, thereafter sharing information of the eminent poet kusumagraj followed by one act play by students explaining the importance of Marathi language, followed by discussion on the history of Marathi language day.
The programme added to its colour by the Marathi Lavani performance by students & a zealous speech was delivered about Marathi language day.
Thereby the Marathi Language Day Celebration became a memorable day.
