The 14th Annual Day Programme of the Primary section of our school was celebrated on Saturday, 20th October, 2018 with great joy and zest. Ms. Sushma Nair was the Hon’ble Chief Guest on the occasion. Among others present were Sr. Madeleine-Superior of the Community, Sr.Angela- our Principal, Sr. Simlifer, Staff members, Parents and students.
The event began with the lighting of the Samai followed by a beautiful meaningful prayer. Thereafter, the chief guest and the Sisters of the community were welcomed and felicitated and a warm welcome was extended to all present. The annual report highlighting the achievements of the academic year 2017-18 was displayed in the form of a Power point presentation.
The theme for the day was “Family –where life begins and love never ends.” The students presented a powerful musical drama to highlight the changing scenario where family life is losing its essence and give the message that children need to be nurtured carefully so that they can bloom into responsible, successful citizens who can build a strong nation.
The chief guest,Ms.Sushma Nair, then addressed the gathering and appreciated the efforts of the students and staff. Sister Angela too appreciated the hard work of the students and teachers in making the day a big success.
The day ended on a note of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
