The School celebrated Shiv Jayanti on 19th Feb 2024. The whole school assembled for the event, then it began with garlanding and lighting of the lamp before the portrait of Shivaji Maharaj .
The program started with prayer, and students read poems written by themselves, in honour of Shivaji maharaj.
Student dressed up as mavalas sang the traditional povada and depicted scenes accordingly. Children also gave speeches. The Principal Sr. Antonette also spoke on the occasion.
The program continued with a rally which started from the school premises and went on to the main road. The children dressed up as Shivaji maharaj , Malavas and as women in traditional attire led the rally children enthusiastically shouted the slogan Jay Shivaji , Jay Bhavani.
The school also carried out various activities like essay writing and poster making for students of class 5 to 10.
The parents, PTA members also took active part in the celebrations.
