SAVE TREES , SAVE NATURE
With the aim to create awareness for a greener future and to sensitize the students about the environmental concerns caused by the cutting down of trees; Van Mahotsav week was celebrated from 1st July, 2021 to 7th July, 2021 by the Students of STD III to XII.
The celebration began on 1st July, 2021 with a special assembly that threw light on the importance of ‘Going Green’ and preserving our environment.This was followed by various classroom activities such as poster making, growing of sprouts, painting on themes of nature conservation, writing slogans etc.
Sister, teaching and non-teaching staff and students participated in the tree plantation activity with great enthusiasm. Students brought different types of saplings and planted them. The activity sensitized students towards the need to preserve our environment and ecology.
