CIRCULAR TO PARENTS OF STD XI

Dear Parents,

A warm welcome and a very Happy Christmas and New Year 2021 to each one!

This is to inform you that the Management of Convent of Jesus and Mary High School and Junior College, Kharghar, has decided to commence Online teaching for this Academic Year
2020-21 due to the pandemic of the Corona virus. This will continue till we begin our normal college routine.

The College begins on January 4th, 2021 for Class XI at 8.30 a.m. The time- table will be sent to you accordingly.

Parents, it is the joint responsibility of the School and the Parents for the Academic formation of our students. Please monitor your children while they work and take an active interest in their learning.

Though we understand that it is a difficult and challenging time for all of us with the number of casualties on the increase day by day in our State of Maharashtra, we need to continue to focus on the education of our children. Our Teachers are trying their best as this is also a new experience for them. We are open to learning and change as the need arises. I earnestly request you to please do your best to co-operate with us in this matter all through the time of this crisis.

A Special Farewell programme was held for Ms.Louisa Peters on her retirement  with  16 years of selfless service at Cjm kharghar on Saturday, 24th October 2020 through virtual mode.
The theme for the same was ” May God be with you as you begin a new phase of life.”
The programme commenced with a Special Eucharistic Celebration, the celebrant Fr.Peter Michael, a redemptorist priest from Goa through his homily highlighted the importance of a dedicated teacher .
The programme continued with a special programme as a gratitude to Ms.louisa, the first teacher to retire from CJM. The programme was well planned & executed by the Primary section teachers.
The virtual treat included dances, presentation depicting the journey of Ms.Louisa at CJM, sharing of memories by the ex-students, teachers , primary section  supervisor Sr.Louisa & student representatives.
No words were sufficient to express profound thankfulness & truly acclaiming that ” you will be missed”.
The programme ended with a note of thanks by  Principal,Sr.Angela ensuring that Ms.Louisa will continue to be in prayers .
