FAREWELL OF MRS.AYESHA FERNANDEZ

The Farewell ceremony for our dear teacher Mrs Ayesha Fernandez was held on Thursday, 16/03/2023 in a special manner.
Mrs Fernandez taught her students with her sincerity and commitment for over 18 years.
The New Hall and the Porch area was decorated beautifully with multi- colored flowers and Rangoli motifs.
The programme began with the Welcome Dance followed by felicitation , entertainment programme.
Our Principal Sr Antonette addressed the school about Mrs Fernandez ‘s valuable contribution to our school.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks.
Mrs Fernandez bade adieu to her colleagues and dear students.
Mrs Fernandez will be fondly remembered as our friend, philosopher and guide.

Celebrating National science Day

Celebrating National science Day at St. Joseph Pashan.
Science knows no country, because it belongs to humanity and it is the torch that illuminating the world.
On the occasion of National Science Day, a session was conducted by Dr. B. Sudarshan Patro at St. Joseph Pashan for students from 5th to 9th Dr. B. Sudarshan Patro working with IITM briefed the students about the various aspects in science relating to weather and climate. Dr. Patro then introduced to the students the conapt of Geo-magnetic energy. Its importance and use. He further talked about his research and stay in Antarctica and the type of life found there. He also shared information about the research step us belonging to different countries over the globe in Antarctica.
This session with Dr. B. Sudarshan Patro proved very informative as he educated us on the importance of a National Science Day and life in Antarctica.

ASH WEDNESDAY

Holy Mass was celebrated on the occasion of Ash Wednesday on Wednesday 22nd February at 8.30 a.m. in the New Hall.
Rev.Fr. Anish S.J. was the main celebration.
Ashes were blessed and applied on the forehead of the faithful.
It was indeed a very solemn occasion.

Pre-Primary Annual Concert 2022-2023

The Pre-Primary Annual Concert was held on 23rd February, 2023. Ms Mahua Narayan Pandharpur, graced the occasion as our chief guest.

The concert was beautifully woven together wiith a Prayer Song, Welcome Dance, Annual Report and Prize distribution. The highlight of the programme was the play ‘Peace and Harmony’ depicting the peace of the jungle, the human – animal conflict and how to ‘Build Bridges’ in order to coexist in peace and harmony.

Our parents received it with a lot of appreciation for the staff and students.

SALAD DRESSING COMPETITION – STD III & STD IV.

To inculcate the importance of eating healthy food; Salad dressing Competition was held online on 8th February 2022 for the students of STD III and IV with the theme “Eat healthy, feel healthy’.
The participants’ creativity was revealed through the beautiful designs and patterns formed with different mouthwatering salads of Vegetables or Fruits

SCHOOL FEAST

The School Feast Day Programme of Our Mother Foundress St. Claudine Thevenet was celebrated virtually on 2nd February 2022 for Class III -XII at 8.00 a.m. with great joy and enthusiasm
The theme for the program was St. Claudine Thevenet, ‘You are the Symbol of hope and love’

The programme began with a meaningful prayer service followed by an Entertainment Programme.

The offline programme began with a meaningful Eucharistic Celebration at 11:00 am in the school hall by Rev. Fr. Mario D’Souza from St. Francis De Sales Church for the Sisters & the entire teaching and non-teaching staff (SSC & ICSE). Father in his homily encouraged everyone to follow the values of Claudine.

The celebration continued with a cake cutting by the sisters followed by a small get together. The staff presented our Dear sisters gifts as a token of love and appreciation for all that they do. The celebration ended with sumptuous snacks.

Feast Day celebration is a day to remember the prayers and blessings of our Mother Foundress for us all to cope up and stay strong in all walks of our life.
