The pomp & jubilation of 74th Independence day was celebrated in a unique way on August 15 ,2020.. The Flag hoisting ceremony was done by the Principal Sr.Angela in the school quadrangle at 8.00am with a few staff & helpers maintaining the norms of social distancing.
While a short online programme was conducted for standards III- XII at 9.00am by teachers for their respective classes . The virtual programme was conducted using creative ideas and ways to mark the significance of both the Independence day as well as the Feast of our Blessed Mother Mary. The programme started with prayer service followed by showcasing of patriotism for their motherland through speeches by students, singing of patriotic songs, presentation of motivational video . Students of some classes in their traditional attire displayed paintings, drawings, articles made of tricolour & the national flags .
